C.C.S. Mahotsav is the main Annual Cultural Fest of City Convent School, Rajaji Puram, which is held every year on 26th, 27th and 28th November in the most popular Auditorium of Lucknow- Ravindralaya. The event is organized on a huge level where it runs for 3 days and 6 shifts with 4000+ students participating and 500+ staff employed and it draws a humongous audience of 10,000+ guardians. The whole school participates with immense joy and excitement and it provides a wide and massive platform for the students to showcase their talents. Students present various dance, music, yoga and drama performances. The Fest also felicitates and honours the meritorious students and various competition winners and their Mothers on stage and celebrates their hard work and success. Moaradabad Campus continues with the C.C.S. Mahotsav and holds its Annual Fest in the first week of December with the same enormity and participation.
It is the annual academic event where the students of C.C.S. engage in a friendly yet competitive inter-school quiz in various subjects giving our bright young minds an enjoyable way of learning and testing your knowledge.Olympiad gives our students a chance to explore the various dimensions of their favourite subjects, dimensions that are not often encountered in regular education. Winners receive attractive prizes and every student is presented with a participation certificate which holds a great value in their academic records further.
Students of City Convent School get choose from numerous Activity clubs lined up with their interests and skills where students get to spark their creativity. The school has the clubs for the following activities and interests- Dance, Music, Drama, Science, Cooking, Gardening, Sports, Yoga and Art & Craft. The students of our clubs have represented our school in various Local, State and National Competitions and won awards.
School holds a Felicitation Ceremony for the meritorious students in class 10th and 12th Board examinations a day after their result is declared. The students are honoured for their hard work and results. These students also interact with their juniors during this ceremony to counsel them and clear their doubts regarding the right approach to achieve their target in the Board Examinations.
The school celebrates our Republic Day with full devotion and patriotism. Essay, drawing and speech competitions are held in the classes on the same theme a day before, and on the Republic Day school holds a celebration through various performances by our students, Flag hoisting and a spectacular Republic Day Parade.
Independence Day is celebrated with full vigour and joy celebrating the sovereignty of our motherland India through Flag hoisting, competitions and fun activities like sports, dance, music, etc. and performances presented by the student.
Every year before winter holidays C.C.S. organizes a Christmas Exhibition where students are invited with their parents. The school is decorated with full Christmas vibes and a spectacular Christmas model and exhibition is prepared by our students which becomes an attractive ‘Selfie point’ for the students and their families. A Fete is also organized where the students put up food stalls offering mouth-watering delicacies prepared by them.
The Annual Report Card Distribution is celebrated as the Open Day every year to congratulate all our students for their hard work and accomplishments. Science and Art & Craft exhibitions are on display with food stalls serving tasty snacks.
